2-Gal Best Ball Event Results
On Thursday, August 26, 2010 gals met to compete in a 2-gal best ball, 9-hole event. Groups divided in to 55 yrs. & older and under 55 years. A great time was had by all.

27-Hole Championship Flight
Winning the 2010 Oskaloosa Golf Men's Championship 27-Hle Event was Mitch Tucker with a 27-hole total (79-39) 109. Mitch improved his 2009 score by 3 strokes. Finishing a close second was Brett Foster with a (75-36) 111. Brett found the water on hole 18 that ended a play-off for the win. Josh Bandstra kept pace shooting a (75-38) 113. Steve Hicks (74-41) and Matt Carriker (76-39)both carded a 115 for 4th and 5th place.
Other 27-hole scores were: 118-Tommy Jansen, Tyler Roose & Curt Spry, 119-Jim Dingeman, 120-Doug Callison, Keith Fick & Doug Hunt, 121-Zach Tremmel, 122-Brian Vance, 123-Jeff Parlet, 124-Dave Anderson, 128-Chad Dixon, 131-Vince Hargrave, 132-Dick Hahne, 133-Scott VanVeldhuizen & 138-Jason Shafer.
18-Hole Championship Flight
Winning the 18-Hole event was Gary Greene. Gary carded a 77 for the win. Finishing a close second was Reggie Dodd shooting a 78 and third was Roger Parlett shooting an 81. Other 18-hole scores were: 84-Tom Jiminez, 85-Dain Netland & Doug Ruffridge, 86-Russell Terpstra, 87-Cornie Brouwer & Jim Spry, 89-Brian White, 92-Tim Blackwell, 95-David Cummins, 97-Brian Snitker & GordonStuit.

7th Annual William Penn Football Golf Outing Results
The 7th Annual William Penn Football Golf Outing (football fundraiser for the Statesmen) was held at Oskaloosa Golf on Saturday, June 19th (one of very few days without rain during the day). 27 teams competed in the 4-person scramble. Flight winners are:

BG Campbell joins Oskaloosa Golf
BG Campbell, an Oskaloosa native and 1970 graduate of OHS has moved back to Oskaloosa. BG will assist with our junior golf program and will be available for golf lessons. BG has been a golf pro for many years in Alabama. BG is available for golf lessons Monday through Thursday after 6PM, Friday after 3PM, and weekends. Please contact the Golf Shop to schedule a lesson.
